The Disney Dining Plan is an innovative program developed by Disney that allows guests to add a dining plan to their Magic Your Way Vacation Package. The package allows guests to pre-purchase their meals for their vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort. These packages allows guests to save anywhere from 10% to 40% on meal cost for their vacation. Here is how the dining plan works:
· As you book your vacation you select one of the Magic Your Way vacation options that include the dining plan. · There are over 100 participating restaurants for you to choose from while at Disney World. · Your meal credits are on your Key to the World Card (which also serves as your room key) which you simply present to the cashier or server when paying for your meals. The room key monitors the number of meal credits left on the card and the receipt you receive will have the total printed for you. · You get to redeem your meals in any order you wish during your stay until the number of meals remaining is zero. · Gratuities are not included in the dining plan. · Alcoholic beverages are not included in the dining plan. · Merchandise and/or photo products are not included at character dining experiences (except for Cinderella’s Royal Table). · A majority of the table service restaurants have become extremely popular since the dining plan began. Reservations can be made up to 180 days in advance of your vacation. Again, this is a free service that Big Dreams Travel offers to you. · The plan must be purchased for the entire length of stay and for the entire party if over the age of three. Meals are non-transferable between members of the party and must be used by mid-night on check out day. · A quick service meal includes: 1 entrée or combo meal, 1 dessert, and 1 single serving of a non-alcoholic beverage (If at breakfast a quick service meal includes: 1 entrée or combo meal and 1 single serving of a non-alcoholic beverage). Children must order from the children’s menu. · A table service meal includes: 1 entrée, 1 dessert (lunch or dinner only), and 1 single serving of a non-alcoholic beverage or 1 full buffet. · Examples of snacks are: ice cream treat, popcorn scoop, bag of snacks, piece of fruit, popsicle, fruit bar, 20 oz. bottle of soda or Dasani water, 22 oz. fountain soft drink or juice, 12 oz. coffee, hot chocolate or hot tea, prepackaged milk or juice. · The following are benefits of all dining packages: Receive a resort refillable mug which you can refill as often as you want to at any quick service restaurant within your hotel, 15% off of the regular price of select boat rentals at Disney World select marina, one free round of miniature golf at one of Disney’s courses, $15 meal voucher at Planet Hollywood in Downtown Disney, 100 game play points in arcades located in Disney hotels (one card per room), 15% off the regular price of most spa services of 50 minutes or more at select Disney World spa and salon locations (No hand and foot treatments), 15% off the regular price of guided bass fishing excursions at select marinas, 10% off all water activities at the Sammy Duvall’s Water Sports Center at Disney’s Contemporary Resort.
